“Trapped, part 2: The Way Out”

Jon Shea August 20th, 2009

Last week I linked to a story in the Boston Globe Magazine about a tragic accident during the final stages of construction of a 9.5 mile long tunnel under the ocean near Boston. Part two came out this past weekend. Part 2 tells the thrilling story of the worker’s escape from the tunnel after their air supply mysteriously goes bad. There’s also a somber lesson somewhere in there about how things can go wrong when you rush to finish things at the end of a big project.

In case you missed it, here is part 1.

I watched both of these when I saw your other post earlier this week. It was really both an amazing and touching story.

This is totally off-topic but this seemed like the easiest way to reach you.

I’ve looked at most, if not all, of the pages on your web site and still I am unclear what you are selling. Your subtitle says “Ridiculously Simple Online Storage”. I see three possibilities … 1. You’re offering online storage space using your application/drivers or 2. Your selling an sftp server/client application or 3. Some combination of this.

This is a trend I see in web sites … offer as little info as possible and hope for the impulse-buy. Well, I don’t impulse-buy. In fact I seldom buy until I’ve gotten full access to the user manual. (The quality of the documentation says a lot about the quality of the product.)

So if you’d care to clarify what it is you’re selling, I am in the market for something like what you might be selling.

    Peace,

    Rob:-]

Rob – a bit off topic, for sure, but we’re happy to answer your question

Currently we are #2 – but have just announced an online storage service called Strongspace that will make us more like #3

We’re not trying to offer as little info as possible, we’re trying to be succinct!
