i watched this four times and still have zero idea how you encode five types of camera positioning data into an audio signal that then meshes with something coming from some truck to go to a computer where there are now “instructions” on how to make the magic yellow line.
I’ve always been in awe of that yellow line. I still remember seeing it for the first time and being completely amazed.
I’m not sure if knowing that there’s a person dedicated in each game to solely making sure that the line looks like it’s underneath players makes me more in awe of it or less so. Either way, I’m still in awe.
